The Department of Psychology offers majors in General and Applied psychology as well as a minor in Psychology. This guide in pdf format is designed to answer many questions that you might have while studying psychology here at UIC. It should make it easier for you to become and remain a psychology major by telling you about where to get advice, departmental policies and procedures, the faculty, special functions and offices, and the course schedule for the year. All psychology majors' and minors' netids are added to a mailing list every semester. If you declare a major or minor in the middle of the semester, be sure to give the advisor your netid so you may receive periodical emails from the Director of Undergraduate Studies.
