GRADUATE PROGRAM
Thank you for your interest in our program. We offer a full-time, research-oriented PhD program. We do not admit students seeking only the MA degree, and we do not accept non-degree or part-time students. We admit students in fall terms only. The application deadline is December 15th each year for the following fall term.
Application Procedures
Step One
Mail to the Office of Graduate Admissions (M/C 018), University of Illinois at Chicago, PO Box 7994, Chicago IL 60680-5220:
- Please complete the Graduate College Application form and submit your application fee ($50 USD for domestic applicants, $60 USD for international applicants http://www.uic.edu/depts/oar/grad/apply_grad_degree.html .
- Official copies of all transcripts for undergraduate and graduate work.
- The GRE General Exam is required for all applicants. Please arrange to have ETS/GRE send official reporting of your scores to UIC (institution code: 1851)
- A TOEFL score less than 5 years old is required for applicants whose native language is not English. Please arrange to have ETS/TOEFL send official reporting of your scores to UIC (institution code: 1851)
Step Two
Online Submission Instructions
As of October 15th, 2009 all department materials must be submitted online. (https://applications.ecragroup.com/application/). We strongly encourage applicants to submit these materials through the new system.
You can return to the Psychology Online Application Website at any time to see if your application is complete by clicking on the My Status button on the top menu. If you have any questions, please email psychinfo@uic.edu.
